Summary of Case:	"Sajid Ali was wrongly convicted in 2009 of raping a woman in Birmingham, England in 2008. Ali's conviction by a jury was based on the woman's testimony. Ali was sentenced to 5 years in prison. The Criminal Case Review Commission accepted Ali's case and they discovered police records that hadn't been disclosed to Ali's trial lawyer that in 2004 the woman had made a false rape accusation against a different man in Birmingham. Based on the new evidence undermining the woman's credibility in March 2014 England's Court of Appeals quashed Sajid Ali's conviction as unsafe and didn't order a retrial. Ali served about 2-1/2 years in prison before his release in 2011 on parole."
