"Dimitre Dimitrov was wrongly convicted in 1999 of murdering his landlord in 1996. Neither the victim's nor Dimitrov's DNA matched the blood on the boot. Dimitre Dimitrov was released on bail pending his retrial. He was acquitted after a retrial in October 2005.
