"Donald Dodd was wrongly convicted in June 2012 of second-degree murder in Ontario, Canada. Dodd was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 17 years before being eligible for parole. On April 27, 2015 the Ontario Court of Appeal quashed Dodd's conviction on the basis the prosecution failed to introduce insufficient evidence he was at the crime scene, and ordered his acquittal."
