Summary of Case:	"Mack Lindon was wrongly convicted of rape in 2008 for a sexual encounter he had with a woman he met in a Melbourne, Victoria, Australia bar in 2006. Lindon's prosecution was based on the woman's claim that he spiked the woman's drink and raped her. Lindon's defense was he did nothing to her drink and when they went back to her residence they had consensual sex. After Lindon's conviction by a jury he was sentenced to six years in prison. Lindon's appeal was successful, and he was granted a new trial. He was released pending his retrial after 19 months imprisonment. Lindon was acquitted in 2011 after his retrial. Lindon was a filmmaker and he wrote, produced and directed the dramatic movie "Rise" that was based on his case. "Rise" was released in 2014."
