"Wrongly convicted of murder in 1987. The Alberta Ct. of Appeals reversed his conviction in 1992. Mr. Nepoose's was preparing a civil suit against the Canadian Dept. of Corrections and the RCMP when he was reported missing, and his skeletal remains were found in Jan. 1998. The suit was filed by his family but as of May 2002 there has been no resolution."
