Summary of Case:

"Three Perry family members were executed for a murder they didn't commit: two brothers and their mother. John Perry confessed to the murder of William Harrison after intensive interrogation, and implicated his brother and mother. Perry retracted his confession and his brother and mother professed their innocence. All were convicted of Mr. Harrison's murder and executed. Two years after the executions Mr. Harrison turned up alive. He had been held as a slave in Turkey after being kidnapped. He escaped when his "master" died. As a result of the Perry's execution for almost 300 years it was a principle of English law that "no body, no crime.""
