Summary of Case:

"He had been a wealthy oil-company owner, and proof he was innocent of his conviction of forcible oral-sodomy was uncovered in 1986 during a civil suit by his alleged victim to recover money from him. The nurse at the hospital where she went testified that the "victim" told her that her then doctor-boyfriend was her attacker. Plotner wound up paying nothing to her. He was released from prison after serving two years, but as of 2001 the conviction had not been reversed."
