""Jailhouse" snitch said Jesse and Stephen Boorn had confessed to Russel Colvin's murder. Colvin had left town in 1812 and hadn't been seen since. He turned up alive after their convictions of murdering him. Convicted in November 1819, the convictions were set aside in January 1820 because no crime had been committed."
