"Codefendant of Ross Dunn & Tim Anderson. The three were known as the Ananda Marga Trio. Wrongly convicted in NSW of conspiring to murder Robert Cameron, the then leader of the National Front. A judicial inquiry conducted by Justice Wood in 1985 determined the three men were innocent. They were released and pardoned. Paul Alister was compensated in 1987 with $100,000 (AUS) for 7 years wrongful imprisonment." |
