Summary | "A dock worker, is wrongfully convicted of a murder charge. His death sentence is commuted to a long prison term. The man learned while in prison that he had not been framed for killing a man, because there had in fact been no murder -- the man faked his own death. The dock worker was unable to convince authorities the man was still alive. When released as an old man, the dock worker vows to find the man and kill him in real life for what he had done. Since he had already been convicted of murdering the man, double jeopardy would prevent him from being prosecuted twice for the same crime. Or would it? Petula Clark, British actress and singer, made her film debut in this movie." |
