Summary "In 1931 three half-breed aboriginal children (white father and Aboriginal mother) are abducted by the Australian government from their home in Jigalong in North Wester Australia and sent 1,500 miles away to a government reeducation center so they can be taught rudimentary English, white Australian customs and manners, and trained to be household servants for whites. The three children escape and begin a 1,500 mile journey back home on foot. During their journey they had to overcome a lack of food, water, bad terrain and eluding an Aboriginal tracker and Australian police."
