Summary of Case:	"Retired Pakistani Brigadier General Imtiaz Ahmad, Adnan A. Khwaja and Nasreen Imtiaz were codefendants wrongly convicted in 2002 of having an possessing illegal assets in Pakistan. Ahmad was the former head of Intelligence Bureau (IB), and Khawaja was the former Managing Director Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL). Ahmad was sentenced to 8 years in prison and fined Rs 70,00,000, and Khwaja was sentenced to 2 years and fined Rs 200,000. Both men were released on bail pending the outcome of their appeal. On June 19, 2015 the Lahore High Court overturned the convictions of Ahmad and Khwaja on the basis of insufficent evidence, since during trial the prosecution introduced no evidence either man had an illegal source of income."
