"Mohammed Ali Al-Qitar was wrongy convicted in March 2013 of human trafficking in June 2012. He was sentenced to seven years in prison. On September 13, 2013 Al-Qitar's conviction was quashed by the Allahabad High Court on the basis there was insufficient evidence the women who were adults being trafficked between India and Nepal, and he was ordered released and that his Saudi passport be returned to him. Al-Qitar's codefendant, an Indian named Nayyar Kamal, was also sentenced to 7 years, but he isn't known to have appealed his conviction."
