"Dru Allard was wrongly convicted on June 9, 2010 of menacing in the second degree as a hate crime in Brooklyn, New York that allegedly occurred during his conversation with muslims on September 11, 2006. On May 27, 2015 the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, Second Department reversed Allard's conviction on the basis the trial court had no jurisdiction to try Allard because he wasn't brought to trial within 6 months of bieng charged. The appeals court ordered dismissal of Allard's indictment."
