Summary of Case:

"Maouloud Baby was wrongly convicted of rape in December 2004 in Montgomery County, Maryland. Baby's prosecution was based on a woman who had consented to a sexual encounter, then telling him during sex that she wanted to stop. On October 30, 2006, the Maryland Court of Appeals overturned Baby's conviction on the basis that under Maryland law a man can't be convicted of rape once a consensual sex act has commenced."
