Scotty Bartek was wrongly convicted in 1991 of two counts of sexual battery upon a child uder twelve years of age. His conviction was based on his identification by the victim. Bartek was sentenced to life in prison. After his release Bartek filed a federal civil rights lawsuit that was dismissed on the basis it was barred by the statute of limitations. |
