Summary of Case:	"Abu Bakar Bashir, an n Indonesian Muslim cleric, was wrongly convicted on March 3, 2005 of conspiracy charges related to the terrorist bombing on October 12, 2002 in the tourist district of Kuta on the Indonesian island of Bali. The bombing killed 202 people (including 88 Australians, 38 Indonesians, and people from more than 20 other nationalities), and 209 people were injured. Bashir was sentenced to 30 months in prison. Bashir was releasd on June 14, 2006 after serving 25 months of his sentence, which had been cut by 4-1/2 months. On December 21, 2006 Bashir's conviction was overturned by Indonesia's Supreme Court."
