"Former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi was wrongly convicted in June 2013 in Milan, Italy of soliciting a minor for sexual relations and pressuring police officials to release the young woman after she was arrested for an alleged theft. Berlusconi, 76 at the time, was sentenced to 7 years in prison and banned for life from holding public office. On July 18, 2014 Berlusconi was acquitted by the appeals court in Milan."
