Summary of Case:

"Shaun Booker was wrongly convicted in August 2002 after a three-week trial of manslaughter in the beating death a 57-year-old man in a parking lot in June 1999. Sentenced to 21 months in prison and served 10 months before his release. In February 2006 the U.K.'s Court of Appeals quashed Booker's conviction based on new evidence. However, citing national security concerns, the court irregularly refused to publicly disclose what the new evidence was that it relied on to quash Booker's conviction."
