Summary of Case:	"Maxwell Bowa was wrongly convicted in September 2013 of shooting and killing ivory poacher Lennon Nkosana in June 2013 in the Midlands province of Zimbabwe. Nkosana was shot during a raid on his house by police and rangers with Zimbabwe's Parks and Wildlife Management that included Bowa, who was a senior game warden. Bowa was prosecuted for Nkosana's murder based on evidence he was the person who shot him. After Bowa's conviction by the High Court in Gweru in September, 2013, he was sentenced to death. In early July 2014 Zimbabwe's Supreme Court acquitted Bowa in ruling there was insufficient evidence he intended to kill Nkosana, and ordered his immediate release from Zimbabwe's death row."
