Summary of Case:

"Anthony E Bragdon was wrongly convicted in 1992 of assault with intent to rape based on defective tests on the physical evidence by the FBI that erroneously implicated. Anthony Bragdon was released on parole in the summer of 2002 after serving 10 years in prison. Bragdon's conviction was overturned in March 2003. The FBI forensic technician, Michael Malone, had falsely testified that carpet fibers he found on the alleged victim's clothing were traceable to Bragdon's apartment - when he knew they didn't."

Investigation into FBI lab practices uncovered the lab techs duplicity. Braggdon's conviction was overturned in March 2003.
