Marcus Brooks was wrongly convicted of a drug offence on 3/12/2010. Brooks submitted an application to Scotland's Criminal Case Review Commission (SCCRC) for review of his conviction as a miscarriage of justice. Brooks's case was referred by the SCCRC on 7/3/2012 to Scotland's Court of Appeal. On 2/14/2013 the appeals court quashed Marcus Brooks's convictions.
