"Willie A. Brown was codefendant of Larry Troy. Troy and Brown were wrongly convicted in 1983 of first-degree murder of a fellow inmate on July 7, 1981 while they were imprisoned at the Union Correctional Institution in Raiford, Florida. They were both sentenced to death. The convictions of Troy and Brown were overturned, and the charges were dismissed in 1988."
