"Justin Kapla, a U.S. citizen, and Philippine citizens Cristobal David and Hilarion Cajucom Jr. were codefendants wrongly convicted in Mongolia in January 2015 of tax evasioon. Each defendant was sentenced to more than five years in prison. On February 26, 2015 Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj granted a pardon to Kapla, David and Cajucom, and they were allowed to leave Mongolia."
