Summary of Case:	"Diane Chavez was wrongly convicted on August 14, 2013 of obstruction of justice related to her allegedly withholding information from police related to the shooting death of Rockford, Illinois attorney Gregory Clark while he was shoveling snow outside of his home. After he conviction, but prior to her sentencing, Winnebago County Judge Joe McGraw granted Chavez' motion for a new trial. On March 9, 2015 Chavez was acquitted after a retrial heard by Judge McGraw without a jury. Chavez was jailed for a month after her arrest before she was able to post bail."
