Summary of Case:	"Regina Chiluba, the wife of Zambia's former President Frederick Chiluba was convicted in March 2009 of graft for receiving $188,000 (141,000 euros) from her husband, that the prosecution alleged was state funds. Chiluba was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. On December 7, 2010, a Zambian High Court overturned her conviction and ordered her acquittal, ruling the state had failed to show the money the ex-president gave his wife was stolen money. The Court's ruling stated, 'There is no proof that the goods and money were obtained illegally and we therefore quashed the conviction on all counts and acquit the appellant on all the charges,' Regina Chiluba had been free pending the outcome of her appeal, so she served no time in jail."
