Summary of Case:	"Charles Edwin Clarke was wrongly convicted in London, England on June 17, 1977 of two counts of conspiracy to case grievous bodily harm. One count related to to William Moseley, and the other to Michael Cornwall. Clarke was sentenced to two years in prison on each count, the terms to run consecutively, for a total of four years in prison. Clarke's appeal was dismissed by the Court of Appeal on April 2, 1979. Clarke died on June 27, 1995, and on December 22, 2000 his widow submitted an application on his behalf to the Criminal Case Review Commission. On March 1, 2001 the CCRC referred Clarke's case to the Court of Appeal. On July 17, 2002 the Court of Appeals quashed Clarke's conviction."
