Summary of Case:	"Huynh Van Nen and nine relatives who were codefendants were wrongly convicted in 2000 of charges related to the murder of Duong Thi My on March 18, 1993 in Hamlet 2, Tan Minh Commune, Ham Tan District, Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam. Nen was sentenced to six years in prison. Nen and nine of his relatives were convicted of charges related to My's murder and sentenced to prison. The convictions of Nen and his nine relatives were overturned in 2005. Nen's nine relatives were released from prison and awarded compensation in 2005 by Binh Thuan Province. Nen was also wrongly convicted of the murder in 1998 of a neighbor, for which he was imprisoned until 2015 when he was exonerated of that murder."
