Dean Collins was wrongly convicted of robbery and having an imitation firearm. In 2003 Collins submitted an application to the Criminal Case Review Commission (CCRC) for review of his conviction as a miscarriage of justice. Collins's case was referred by the CCRC on 6/21/2005 to the England and Wales Court of Appeal (Criminal Division). On 3/24/2006 the appeals court quashed Dean Collins's convictions.
