"Kenneth M. Conley was wrongly convicted of perjury when he claimed to have witnessed police beating an undercover officer. Kenneth Conley had his conviction reversed in August 2004 based on the prosecution's concealment of evidence corroborating that the beating occurred. Sentenced to 34 months in prison, but didn't serve any time because he was granted bail pending appeal. Initial motion granting a new trial was vacated in 2001 by the Federal First Circuit Court of Appeals. See, United States v. Conley (1st Cir., 5/16/2001, No. 00-2141)."
