Matthew Connor was wrongly convicted in March 1980 of murdering and raping an 11 year old girl in north Philadelphia in August 1978. It was discovered in 1989 that the prosecution had concealed reports from the defense that the testimony used to convict Matthew Connor was false. He was released in March 1990.
