Summary of Case:	"Kyle Cromer was wrongly convicted of third-degree sexual abuse after meeting a woman and after a night of drinking going to a motel with her, and having sex. Although she admitted to police she had no memory of the evening after going to the motel, she later accused Kyle Cromer of rape. She was coached by police during a tape recorded telephone call to Cromer in an effort to obtain a confession from Cromer. He was convicted based on her testimony and his recorded conversation with her in which he described them having sex. He was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison. On May 1, 2009 the Iowa Supreme overturned Cromer's conviction based on ineffective assitance of counsel."
