Summary of Case:	"Alan Crotzer was wrongly convicted in 1991 of a controlled substance violation when he wouldn't reveal the name of the guard that smuggled marijuana into the prison where he was incarcerated. Alan Crotzer was granted a full pardon in October 2008 by Florida's Executive Clemency Board. Florida Governor Charlie Crist also ordered that the record of Crotzer's conviction be expunged from state records. Crotzer had previously been exonerated in 2006 of a 1981 double rape that DNA evidence proved he didn't commit. Crozer was wrongly imprisoned for 24-1/2 years for that conviction, and in 2008 the Florida legislature awarded him compensation of $1.25 million."
