"Sunil Donde was wrongly convicted of murdering his wife on November 22, 2006. The prosecution's case was based on three witnesses. Donde was sentenced to life in prison. In October 2013 the Bombay High Court ruled there were inconsistencies in the testimon of the witnesses, and acquitted Donde on the basis there was insufficient evidence to support Donde's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and ordered his immediate release."
