Summary of Case:	"Drake Alan England was wronly convicted of possession of amphetamine in an amount of less than one gram in Harris County, Texas. Drake England pled guilty and was sentenced to nine months in state jail. After he had served his sentence, England filed a habeas petition contending his plea was involuntary and his conviction violates due process because post-conviction testing of the evidence in his case determined the substance in his possession was amphetamine in an FDA-approved form. The State did not oppose his petition, and the trial court recommended the granting of relief. On October 5, 2016 the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals granted Drake England's habeas petition vacating his guilty plea and overturning his conviction."
