Summary of Case:	"Lonne Erby was wrongly convicted in 1986 of raping three girls in St. Louis in 1985, based on the eyewitness testimony of the victims. Lonne Erby was sentenced to 115 years. Erby was released on Aug 25, 2003 when DNA tests excluded him as the girl's attacker. Circuit Judge Jimmie Edwards, who ordered Erby released, said, "I'm sorry for your wrongful conviction. As you know, the science of today is not the science of yesterday." Erby was wrongly imprisoned for almost 18 years. Erby was awarded $311,800 in wrongful imprisonment compensation by the State of Missouri."
