Summary of Case:

"David Ettridge was co-defendant of Pauline Hanson. The 'One-Nation Two' were the co-founders of Australia's One-Nation party in 1997. The two were wrongly convicted in 2003 of fraudulently registering the "One-Nation" party in Australia. Sentenced to three years in prison on August 20, 2003, the conviction of both co-founder's were quashed on November 6, 2003 and both were immediately released from prison after serving 78 days of their three year sentences. David Ettridge later filed a lawsuit in Queensland seeking AUS$1.5 million in damages and an apology from Tony Abbott and others involved in raising the money that bankrolled the campaign against the One-Nation party that ultimately resulted in Ettridge and Hanson's wrongful convictions. As of May 2013 that lawsuit was pending."
