Summary of Case:	"Charles Ray Finch was wrongly convicted in 1976 of murder in the shooting death of Richard "Shadow" Holloman in his Black Creek, North Carolina country store on February 13, 1976. After his conviction by a jury Finch was sentenced to death. On January 25, 2019 the U.S. District Court granted Finch's writ of habeas corpus, and ordered a new trial. On May 23, 2019 Charles Finch was released from prison after his immediate release was ordered by U.S. District Court Judge Terrence Boyle. "
