Queensland's High Court ruled in June 2005 that under Australia's Magistrates Act of 1991, Ms. Fingleton was immune from prosecution when performing judicial administrative duties. Imprisoned for 6 months, and awarded $475,000 (Australian) compensation in September 2005."
