Summary of Case:

"Leon Benjamin Forde was wrongly convicted of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2002. The girl accused Forde of the rape two years later in 2004, claiming he bit her on the neck like a "vampire" when he attacked her. In 2006 the police became aware of a computer diary the girl had written in which she wrote about the rape claim that she had "made it all up." In May 2006 the Court of Appeals quashed Forde's conviction and ordered his release. Forde was wrongly imprisoned for 18 months. 19 years old when imprisoned, he described his time in prison as "hell.""
