Summary of Case:	"Levi Freeman-Quay was wrongly convicted of assault for landing a single punch on Matt Pridham during a scuffle in Canberra, Australia in the early morning of 2013. Pridham fell and his his head on the concrete and spent weeks recovering in the hospital from brain swelling. He had to spend months re-learning how to write, read and eat. Freeman-Quay's prosecution was based on eyewitness testimony he was the person who struck Pridham. His defense was he was falsely identified because he did not strike Pridham. After his conviction by a jury, Freeman-Quay was sentenced to two years in prison. He appealed. On September 6, 2016 the ACT Supreme Court of Appeal set aside Freman-Quay's conviction based on new CCTV evidence that showed he wasn't the person who struck Pridham. Freeman-Quay remained in prison to serve his sentence related to two his convictions of assaulting two other persons during the same scuffle."
