Died in May 2010 while her case was being appealed, and several weeks later the Scottish Court of Appeals overturned her conviction as a miscarriage of justice. Lord Gill ruled, 'In my view, the circumstances were clearly prejudicial to her. The conviction must therefore be regarded as a miscarriage of justice.'"
