"Ian Gay was co-defendant of his wife, Angela Gay. Both were wrongly convicted in 2005 of killing their 3-year-old adopted son, based on expert prosecution testimony that he died from salt poisoning, based on expert te. After spending 15 months in prison their convictions were quashed by England's Court of Appeals based on new medical evidence. They were both acquitted in March 2007 after a retrial."
