Summary of Case:	"Cynthia George was wrongly convicted in 2005 of plotting the June 2001 murder of a former lover in Akron, Ohio. Her conviction was based solely on circumstantial evidence that she plotted with her then current lover who committed the crime. Cindy George was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 23 years before being eligible for parole. On March 21, 2007 the Ohio Court of Appeals overturned her conviction on the basis their was insufficient evidence of her guilt and issued an order to the Summit County Common Pleas Court to issue an order for her immediate release. The prosecution appealed the ruling to Ohio's Supreme Court, which on August 29, 2007 declined to accept the case for review, which made the dismissal of her case final. George was wrongly imprisoned for 16 months."
