"Ray Girdler Jr. was wrongly convicted in 1982 of a fatal fire in Yavapai County, Arizona that killed his wife and child based on false scientific evidence by the prosecution's "expert" witness that flammable liquid was present in the home. Subsequent tests proved their were no such liquids and that the fire was from natural origins. Released from prison on November 23, 1990 after eight years and four months of wrongful imprisonment."
