Summary of Case:	"Michael Googe was wrongly convicted on March 31, 2008 of three burglaries in Brunswick, Georgia. Googe was found guilty by way of his no contest plea and he was sentenced to two years in prison. After Googe's conviction it was discovered that a DNA test excluded him as as the source of the blood of the burglar collected from the convenience store burglary. In Febuary 2009 the FBI discovered that the DNA matched that of Paul Wright -- who was the police informant who identified Googe as the burglar. Based on the exclusionary DNA evidence a motion for a new trial was filed on July 31, 2015. On August 6, 2015 the motion was granted without opposition by Glynn County District Attorney."
