Summary of Case:	"Kenneth Granger was wrongly convicted in 1982 of a 1980 murder in Philadelphia. Granger was convicted based on a eyewitness identification. Granger was sentenced to life in prison. A reinvestigation of Granger's case by the Pennsylvania Innocence Project uncovered evidence that the police and prosecutors had failed to disclose to his trial lawyers that contrary to the trial testimony, an eyewitness had positively identified another man as the murderer. Based on the new evidence of Granger's innocence, his conviction was overturned and he was released on July 14, 2010."
