Summary of Case:	"Donald Lee Gray was wrongly convicted in three separate indictments of improper photography in Smith County, Texas. After each conviction Donald Gray was sentenced to one year in prison for each indictment. In 2014 the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals ruled that the statute under which Gray was convicted was unconstitutional. See, Ex parte Thompson, 442 S.W.3d 325 (Tex. Crim. App. 2014) Gray filed a state habeas corpus petition to vacate his three convictions based on the 2014 ruling in the Thompson case. On February 24, 2016 the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals granted Donald Lee Gray's habeas corpus petition by a majority of 2 to 1, on the basis the statute he had been convicted of was unconstitutional. The Court ordered that Gray's three separate convictions be set-aside and ordered dismissal of the charges."
