Summary of Case:	"Jack Grover was wrongly convicted in August 2006 of attempting to falsify a home's smoke detector inspection records, after a fire that killed two children. Grover was sentenced to one year in prison. Grover, the home's landlord, was convicted by the jury based on him visiting the hospital to try to get the tenant's signature on the record. In December 2006, Saskatoon's Appeal's Court quashed Grover's conviction on the ground that there was no proof that Grover didn't think the inspection had been performed but the record had accidentally been left unsigned. The Court ordered Grover's release after four months imprisonment."
