"Demario Terrell Harris was wrongly convicted of drug charges based on false evidence by Tulsa Police Department officers. One of dozens of defendants who had their chages dismissed. Demario Harris was sentenced to life in prison. Demario Harris' conviction was overturned and he was immediately released from custody on October 27, 2010. Demario Harris filed a federal civil rights lawsuit that named as defendants the City of Tulsa, the Tulsa Police Department, and officers involved in her prosecution. In 2013 Harris and the City of Tulsa agreed to settle his lawsuit for $50,000."
